RENTING PROCESS

Q: Is there any kind agreement I need to sign?
A: Yes, there is a short agreement one needs to sign while renting the car.

Q: I have not received my confirmed booking email. What I have to do?

Q: What licence do I need to drive in Zanzibar?
A: All national driving licences of all countries are accepted in Zanzibar, however they must be presented together with a Zanzibar Driving Permit.

Q: What is a Zanzibar Driving Permit, and how do I get it?
A: Driving in Zanzibar requires a permit issued by the local authorities in addition to your national or international driving licence. This permit costs an additional $10 per driver and can be arranged in advance by Zanzibarcars. Once you have booked with us, please email us a copy of your current licence. The permit fee can be paid on arrival in Zanzibar.

Q: Is there a special place for picking up the car?
A: No, car will be delivery anywhere upon your request.

Q: My renting days are over,where will i drop the car?
A: Arrangement will be made,the car can be drop nearby hotel,ferryport or at the airport.

Q: Can i rent a car with a chaffeur?
A: We offer Self Drive and Chauffeur. If you would like a driver,arrangement can be made with zanzibarcars.

Q: What happens if I have an accident?
A: If you have an accident, please stay in your vehicle if it is safe to do so and call us straight away. We shall be there as quickly as possible. Your safety is our primary concern.
